A new GCE feature now in beta allows users to specify a minimum CPU platform when creating a GKE cluster or node pool.

ベータの新しいGCE機能ではGKEクラスタ又はノードプールを作成するとき最小CPUプラットフォームを選択可能になります。

「XX以降のCPUアーキテクチャを使う」を指定するやつです。

Java 8 runtime on App Engine standard environment is now generally available and is covered by the App Engine service level agreement.

App Engine standard環境のJava 8ランタイムがGenerally Availableになり、App EngineのSLAをカバーします。

Rubyistとしては嬉しいニュースですね。まともに使えるといいんですが。。。
